Gold Huasheng Paper (Suzhou Industrial Park) Co., Ltd. is located in Suzhou Industrial Park in Jiangsu Province, was founded in March 1996 with an area of 2.74 square kilometers. With over 2500 employees and a total investment of USD 1.387 billion, the company is the largest carbonless copier paper producer in the world and has an annual production of 450,000 tons.

Taking environment protection as its responsibility, Gold Huasheng carries out the management concept of sustainable, eco-friendly paper manufacturing with its first investment for environment protection at RMB393 million. The total investment for new NCR related projects reaches RMB370 million, out of which RMB20 million is dedicated to environment protection. The company passed ISO14001 international certification (Environment Management System) in January 2002 as well as the ISO9002 certification in July 2000.

The local government welcomes Gold Huasheng's efforts in environment protection. The company was awarded Jiangsu 10 Best Unit for Environment Protection and Jiangsu Advanced Enterprise in Environment Protection in 2002. It was awarded Suzhou Advanced Enterprise in Environment Protection and Suzhou Green Enterprise in Industrial Enterprise Environmental Conduct consecutively for three years in 2001, 2002 and 2003. The company passed the Clean Production Intion organized by Suzhou Economical and Commercial Committee in 2003 and was chosen to be the sustainable economic pilot testing unit in Jiangsu Province in 2004. It subsequently won the fund for Water and Sludge Recycling projects in November of the same year.
